AFCI POLICIES RE EDUCATION PROGRAM - Level I

Cancellation and Refund Policy, as follows here:
AFCI reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any of its courses and to change the dates and venues. A partial refund is given for course registration if the course is cancelled, and students keep the videos and manual; or students may choose to re-schedule.
No Refund for "No Show":
There will be no refunds for "no show" by the student on the dates of the seminar.
Level I, Part 1 - Cancellation Policy, as follows here:
Should a student registered for Part 1 seminar cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $275.25 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $250.25 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.
Level I, Part 2A/3A - Cancellation Policy, as follows here:
Should a student registered for Parts 2A and 3A seminars cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $634.00 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $584.00 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.
Level I, Part 2A or 3A - Cancellation Policy, as follows here:
Should a student registered for Part 2A seminar only or 3A seminar only cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $317.00 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $292.00 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.

  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
  • Continental breakfasts,  refreshment breaks and lunch provided .
  • Scent Free Environment Policy: please, no perfume!
  • Book flight and hotel after AFCI confirmation received.
  • Registration will be limited to allow for small workshop groups.
  • Please bring a bathing suit or shorts (and tank tops for women) to allow exposure of the body for point location.
  • Needle insertion practice by students on each other is an integral part of the seminar.  Students will be asked to sign an agreement to participate in this manner.
  • If you are pregnant, you will have to bring a friend to the seminar "to be needled" and add $35 per day to the registration fee to cover the cost of meals and breaks for your friend.  Sign the agreement on the registration form.
  • A participants' list will be provided to students and to exhibitors.
  • Completion credit hours certificates will be issued.
  • An AFCI Level I binder will be given to students in advance, with room for syllabus for Parts 1, 2A and 3A courses.

Transfer Policy:
If a student registers for a seminar and cannot attend, the student may transfer the funds to the next seminar, providing notice is given in writing to AFCI at least seven days prior to that seminar. There is no charge for the first transfer; however, for each and any subsequent transfer, there will be an administrative fee of $25. Transfers are only applicable within a two-year time span.

To attend Level II seminars, one must be a Member of AFCI. Membership Application form available from website www.afcinstitute.com

Level II, Classicals B-PTZFO  - Cancellation Policy, as follows here: 
Should a student registered for Classical B (PTZFO) seminar cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $284.90 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $259.90 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.
Level II, Classicals E-BSFD - Cancellation Policy, as follows here:
Should a student registered for Classical B (BSFD) seminar cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $284.90 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $259.90 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.
Level II, Classical C+D- JLEP - Cancellation Policy, as follows here:

Should a student registered for Classical C&D (JLEP) seminar cancel, AFCI will reimburse the student $685.00 if cancelled three weeks before the seminar and $660.00 if cancelled less than three weeks before. Student keeps all videos and written material in the binder.

  • Registration is on a first come, first served basis.

  • An AFCI Level II binder will be given to students in advance of the Classical A-BTAOM seminar with room for Level II, Classical C+D-JLEP and Classicals B-PTZFO & E-BSFD courses.

Please Note:
The Atlas of Chinese Acupuncture by Solinas et al. is required for Classical C+D-JLEP.  If you already have a copy of the Atlas when you enrolled for the Level I, Part I course, you may deduct $75 + ($5.25 GST or $11.25 HST), as applicable, from the course registration fee and indicate on the registration form that you do not need the Atlas.
The Atlas of Chinese Acupuncture by Solinas et al. is recommended for Classical E-BSFD.  You may purchase a copy from AFCI.

Transfer Policy:
If a student registers for a seminar and cannot attend, the student may transfer the funds to the next seminar, providing notice in writing is given to AFCI at least seven days prior to that seminar. There is no charge for the first transfer; however, for each and any subsequent transfer, there will be an administrative fee of $25. Transfers are only applicable within a two-year time span.
