Ethical practitioners of acupuncture must:
• Comply with the Code of Ethics of their professional regulatory bodies
• Practise within their professional scopes of practice
• Practise within the level of their training, and current competence
• Consult with or refer to more experienced practitioners, as appropriate
• Identify their correct professional designation to the public with respect to acupuncture
